Thought this was a great option when we moved to central Ohio. Very disappointed. I was shown the model, and it was in beautiful shape. We moved into our apartment, and it was in poor shape. Molding missing from the floor areas, and linoleum in the bathroom/kitchen/washroom/hall way is damaged and heavily stained. This should've been an obvious need of repair before someone else moved in. The apartment is advertised as having sound proofing; however, you here our neighbors easily. Especially if their child (ren) are active. I have to argue that the square footage on this apartment isn't what it is advertised. Either that, or it's VERY poor blue prints. Not good considering MI homes built this. It's only a few years old, and in less than pristine condition. You're able to paint in the homes, but you have to return it to it's original condition when leaving. Not sure if the previous tenants did it or maintenance, but the paint job is crappy at best. When standing at an angle, you can actually see the studs in the wall behind the drywall. I really don't think that should be like that. Some of the carpeting has some minor staining on it. That's not really a major problem. People come in and out of this complex all hours of the night with there music up, and their cars without exhaust systems. There is a 2 car rule in the complex, but it's not followed. Wouldn't recommend. We pay almost $800 a month for this "upscale" neighborhood. Over priced for what you get. Won't be renewing our lease. We also thought this to be a nice area, but it seems to be a decaying area. A stabbing and shooting(s) all within the last 2 months, and within 3-5 miles of area. Not as safe in the area as thought.
Pros: Pool, mail hold service, gym, and option of a garage
Cons: Poor condition, noise, decaying neighborhood, over priced
