The Briarcliff Medical Assn. is overprescribing pain medicine to many patients that are addicted, I know patients who go there just to complain and whine about something that doesn't exist except in their head. This is a growing problem in our society and the people who have been in car accidents and neck surgery or who suffer from migraines can't get help there. But let me tell you if you complain and get in on their good side it's a different story, I know a woman who goes through 120 hydrocodone in 5 days yet they still prescribe it. Maybe it's because she has insurance hmmmmm. I don't, however I pay my bills. Dr. Schinn acted like he cared and was so concerned even brought up people we both knew and laughed yet today I call to get pain meds for a week because it is intense and I had to go to the hospital, yes I've had a discectomy and a fusion on my neck and I was in a car wreck. The nurse manager said Dr. Schinn took my file into a board meeting and said he had problems with me yet he doesn't have a problem taking my money and laughing and joking with me. I'm sick and tired of people who abuse the system and the DR's who let them I will be turning them in for I have names and I suggest you don't go there because one day you may be called for no reason at all to tell you they no longer want to see you. Ask why because they're so busy seeing the other so called patients who don't need any type of pain meds! I strongly suggest you go somewhere else so you won't be manipulated as I was. This will continue because I'm tired of the games these Dr's play when it comes down to people with real pain. Very disappointed and I will turn all names over to the police dept. to investigate this situation.
