I have been sending my child here for many years. We don't have insurance, but they have reasonable prices and my and child and I are always treated well. Will recommend!!

BEWARE 6/14/2011

This clinic is prone to feed you excuses, their customer service is insufficient, and their practitioner ""john,"" could not even determine what conditions I was experiencing after two physical consultations and multiple blood tests. He even charged me more for what he considered a ""prolonged"" visit without even notifying me of such circumstances. more

2 Sides to every story 2/27/2011

When reading the last two review and response it just made me realize there are always two sides to every story. Its not good to form opinions on just a one sided basis. I am a patient there and I can say that my husband and I are very happy with Dr. K and his staff. My husband is kinda like a ""Tim the Tool Man Taylor"" , and my two teenage boys are just like him. I have had to face it, he is accident prone. Thank God for our insurance and Dr. Kobobel's office. There are many times in the past 5 years that we could have gone to the emergency room but we didn't have to because we would just walk- in to our families doctors office, so over the years we have been happy. more

These Walk In Clinics are wonderful !!! 1/18/2011

I was on-line yesterday because my family doctor could not see me and I had a horrible sore throat that I couldn't shake for a week and only has gotten worse. My doctors office told me to go to a ""walk in clinic"" I have seen them around but never had to experience one before, so I was I little confused how this all worked. I seen this particular place online and I must say I was impressed, I was able to receive my medicine there and I was in and out in an hour, I was feeling much better by last night. I talked to the doctor about some other issues and I am going to follow up next week. I was very satisfied. more

I recommend this office!!! 1/18/2011

I wanted to take the time to answer to the negative e-mail below because if this person was or is really a patient of Dr. Kobobel, she would know how stable his office is! Did you ever think that maybe your insurance company is causing the trouble and delay??? I know because one time it took almost two weeks to have an authorization approval, but what I know for sure is that Dr. K. office never stop fighting. I have been a patient for Dr. Kobobel since 2005, and I have to say that his office is very helpful and will try their best all the time. I?m not saying that they are perfect because we all know that nobody is, but as long as the Dr. and his staff will do everything in their power to help me, I will be there! more

I usually don't post to these kinds of reviews, the hoops you have to go through just to write something is ridiculous, who has time now of days??? I was a little disturbed when I came across these comments. I have been a patient with Dr. K for the last 4 years. Have I had some ups and downs with his office? I have had some very serious health issues and Dr. K and his staff have helped me through and get me stabilized in my issues. Overall my experience has been good. Yes, more ups than downs, the down side was petty things because of me probably being impatient and not feeling well, the most important, was my life in his care, he has always treated me and my family with the up most respect and care. Overall my experience has been good. The comments about Nancy I think are irrelevant; offices go through changes, people move on, who cares??? I was just there the other day, to have my medication adjusted and my experience was great. So, for this long time patient, I am happy! more

Mixed feelings 11/4/2010

I've been a patient with this practice a lot of years -- basically since they opened. Things used to be much better there, but they've slipped, and you should expect all kinds of staff incompetence and unnecessary hoop jumping, all directed by Dr. Kobobel no doubt. more

Wonderful clinic for all aspects of care 10/14/2010

The office staff and medical assistants are great! The Physicians actually listen and are empathetic to your issues. The clinic is very clean which means a lot. I would recommend this clinic to everyone. more

great care 10/13/2010

Dr. Kobobel is the most caring doctor you can imagine. He is not just a doctor , he is your compassionate friend. I had an emergency , and he came to the hospital in the middle of the night. I know i can call Dr. Kobobel with my whole family medical needs - any time. Overall i had great experience with clinic, and all people working there. Everyone is very helpful, and listening to your needs. Office is exceptionally clean, and pleasantly decorated to soothe your mind. I always recommed Dr. Kobobel to all of my friends. more

Dr Kobobel is just wounderful , smart and compassionate , We all love Him . My entire family has Dr. Jasen as our primary physician . The staff is very nice ,and helpful. The office is very , very clean and high/tech. We recommended Dr. Kobobel to our friends , and they all are very happy to have Him as a Doctor. more

Do not go here! 7/14/2010

Dr. K tested me for a disease while I was sick, and after getting the results prescribed me medication. Doctors should know you can't test someone for a disease when they have the flu. He misdiagnosed me and started me on a medication that could have given me a heart attack if taken with my other medication. I asked him before he prescribed it if it'd be okay that it'd be okay. Saw a specialist and they told me it was destroying my heart. Don't go here! Pros: nothing Cons: terrible doctor, rude employees, long wait times more

OMG love this office 10/4/2009

This is not a walk-in clinic but a family practice that excepts walk-ins. Their hours are great and even opened on Sat. Dr. K is good but Nancy Barnhouse ARNP (nurse practitioner) is awesome. Go see her for any and all things.... She really cares and is so good... Pros: Great Providers Cons: front desk just a little slow but not bad more

Brevard Family Clinic Abandons It's Patients 5/22/2009

I was contacted by my doctor to come in for a followup, but when I arrived was told i had ""broken procedures"" and was refused to be seen. I had made the mistake of telling them my insurance changed to something they didn't accept.. I was willing to pay the regular fee (he was my doctor and i would just pay out of pocket) but instead the office manager claimed I didn't follow proper procedures on followup. If that's the case, why did my doctor contact me to come in anyway? The problem is that I lost my insurance, and received Medicaid which they do not accept. As I said that's fine, I was willing to pay out of pocket. Had I not mentioned medicaid I would have likely been fine. The doctor advises you to make sure you have 24 hours of prescription left if you need refills. I have enough medicine for 48.. they told me to go ""find a new doctor"" but how am I going to do that over a weekend when they are all closed? I was forced to goto the emergency room because i needed medicine and was totally abandoned even though they knew my situation. Please know.. I did not try to use medicaid here. I was willing to pay out of pocket just to get my BP and other senseitive medicine, after they called me for a followup! Only after hte office manager learned i had medicaid did they present me with a refunded credit card receipt and tell me I had ""numerous infractions""... all of which were untrue. I did ask to see the doctor, and was told he was not there. A lie.. I saw him walk by earlier. I asked to see the practioner who was due to see me, again refused. The worst part is the lying and making me out to be a bad patient. I have never been treated so rudely, it was as if because I had medicaid I was now dirt to them. Sadly my cobra will kick in in a few days. they won't get any of that though. This is a doctors office concerned with making money, not helping patients. Avoid them unless you want to spend a night in the emergency room like me. Pros: Hi-Tech Facilities Cons: Abandons Patients in Need See Below more

Dr is great, staff NOT so much... 2/24/2009

Dr. K is great...He doesn't rush you and I have never waited very long. His front office staff seems to turn over a lot and they don't seem to know what they are doing (reception). If you obtain Xrays for any reason, be sure to call SEVERAL times to make sure they print them and that they are readable (they put them on a disc, but when the specialist tried to view them, they couldn't -.bmp format and corrupted)...request jpeg format. Pros: Dr is wonderful Cons: Staff is clueless (most of them) more

DO NOT GO BEWARE-READ MY EXPIRIENCE he ruined my life 10/6/2007

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, Everyone please be careful when seeing this doctor. I am a 32 year old male that has RA, Lyme disease and multiple herniated and bulging disks. I had an app. Friday October 5th and I wish I had never gone. Due to my disabilities I see multiple doctors. I am in excrusiating pain continuously all day long. I went in the office and the staff is always miserable and rude. As I was waiting for my name to be called a staff member asked me for some info about my other doctors. I thought that it was strange but they must need it for thier records. So I gave her the info. She called all of my doctors and got me discharged from all of them, all because 6 months ago when I moved to the area and came in to get established, to have a primary doc. That was my first and only visit till friday, apparently I signed a sheet saying that I would only get pain medication from him. He gave me 20 oxycodone 5mg So I could have something till I found a pain managment doctor. So Friday while I waited to see doctor J, the staff member called all of my doctors that I despiratly need and told them that I was recieving pain medication from them as well. what they didnt say was that it was only once and it was before i saw the other doctors. after an hour and a half she came to the front and told me that i could not be seen and i am also discharged from there. she also had me discharged from all my other doctors as well. With my diseases i really need these doctors and now i am running out of medication and have no where to turn. I left his office in tears and so upset because they made me feel like a criminal. I am a well dressed christian man that just needs help. Trust me these people have no morals or ethics. I think this may be against the law what they did but i am scared and dont know what to do . so anyone out there beware . i take oxycotin 80mg and oxycodone 30 mg x4 times a day.
