Best

Great course! Very professional. The owner goes out of his way to help you. All my children have gone through Brentwood Driver Training. It was a nice bonus to test for a license ...

Worst

A lot of issues we had were cleared up by the owner of the school. He explained how the older movies were shown because they better explained the driving process and the problems ...

Not worth the reputation 6/4/2008

I am an actual student of this school. It does not live up to its reputation. The fact that the rules state that students who are disruptive will be asked to leave is a complete lie. The classroom instructor lacked the backbone to deal with misbehaving students who made the classroom environment unbearable. We would have to stop the lessons several times before finally getting through it.Frankly, it reminded me of a kindergarten classroom, but with less maturity. Students were screaming, dancing, singing, throwing things, hitting each other, climbing over tables, etc. The textbooks were falling apart and had obscene writing all over them. The videos shown were ancient, some of which were home-made by the owner himself years ago, and believe me you could tell! The staff was young and completely unprofessional. One employee came to work dressed in a sweatshirt and what could properly be defined as ""booty shorts"" with flip flops. The other ""manager"" played football with students during class time. Students were sandwiched into the room, and there was little to no walking space between rows. The driving instructors themselves were somewhat satisfactory. If you're basically looking for a holding place for your children to play and flirt, then choose this location. They might learn a little, but half the class is talking over the teacher anyways. Pros: well-equipped practice cars Cons: overflowed class sizes, weak classroom instructor, learning materials in poor condition, unprofessional staff more

Very helpful staff 1/30/2008

The management was always helpful and willing to listen to my questions and concerns. I was very nervous when my teenager reached driving age but this company's staff was very caring (especially the owner) and eased my concerns. I was pleased with how much my son learned. I feel a little better about him driving now. Pros: Customer Service Cons: No Murfreesboro location more

Horrible customer service 12/13/2007

poor young mngmt, disrespectful and rude owner. this is the first time on this site, but i wanted everyone to know. the management is""unavailable"" for any questions, complaints or comments. Pros: good instructors Cons: management, customer service, accountability more

Great Company! 8/21/2006

I loved my Driver Education class at Brentwood Driver Training! I learned so much and they were so patient with me. They were so much easier to drive with than my parents. Everyone said they were the best and I agree. I was having a hard time with driving, but they helped me so much that I easily passed the driver's test. Thank you for everything. Pros: They really do care. more

How are they still in business? 6/16/2006

I signed up for Brentwood Drivers Training expecting that since it was quite well known, it would be a worthwhile experience. It was terrible! The textbooks were falling apart. Most were missing many pages and had obscene amounts of writing and drawings in them. \r \r The content of the class itself was ridiculous. The class I took was located away from the brentwood location, and I guess that's why my teacher was able to get away with teaching us virtually nothing. The ""Quizzes"" she gave us were all open-book, so any monkey with half a brain could pass them. She told us the answers to the final permit test (Literally...not only did she tell us the answers, she told us the multiple choice letter!) Instead of teaching the class, we would read out of a book, and when that was done, spend the remainder of the class watching ""relevant films."" These films included the Blues Brothers and some documentary about possessed cars.\r \r For $350, I learned nothing about driving and wasted an entire week watching movies I could have rented at Blockbuster. These people seriously need to get their act together. Pros: Ridiculously easy to pass Cons: Dilapidated textbooks, poor teaching, waste of time more

This company really cares! 6/24/2002

Brentwood/Nashville Driver Training really cares about their students. The instructors are so patient, professional, and pleasant to be with. Many people have told me what a good experience they had with this company and they were right. I just wanted to say thank you Brentwood Driver Training. Pros: Very Professional Program more
