striking bbq gold! 11/7/2007

If you are anything like me, you appreciate good food and good food finds. I struck gold when i came across the Brentwood Express (home of the ROWDY BBQ). It is located on 51, on the left if you are heading into Pittsburgh. Pros: summertime hot spot....sit out and enjoy the weather!! Cons: no indoor seating. take out only. no delivery. more

Amazing find! 9/20/2007

We had always driven by this fantastic place, and just never stopped. That changed last week and for the better! We stopped before the game last week and had pulled chicken and cheesesteak. My husband loved the pulled chicken and finished off my cheesesteak, as it was huge! The combo option is great the the fries reminded me of the ones at the Potato Patch at Kennywood--and YES you can get cheese or gravy on them. They have a smoker out back that uses wood and BE smokes their meat for at least 3 hours. Pros: Excellent food, good service and prices. Cons: Take out or picnic table eating only. more

Such Great Food 8/6/2005

We are regulars here and are never disappointed. The prior customer must have really gotten them on an off night because I eat the steak hoagies all the time and LOVE THEM! One of our new favorites is the Beef Brisket. It melts in your mouth. Their Mac & Cheese is to die for, and the fresh cut fries are awesome. They cook their chicken on the smokers out back and it tastes like no other chicken I've ever tasted. Used them for a graduation party last year and people just raved about the food. Pros: Great Food at Great Prices more
