Brennan Heating & Air Conditioning

We moved into our condo after having rented it out for 2 years. We need to update the furnace and water heater and chose Brennan Heating to do the job. The guys were punctual and efficient as they removed the old furnace and water heater and replaced them both. After the job was done, they walked me through how to use the new touch screen thermostat and used a shop vac to clean up the work area. I shopped around and got bids from three other places, in the end I was very happy with their competive prices and service. more

Okay - so I am sitting on my couch dozing off and thinking, its time to go to bed when there's a loud hissing noise downstairs-oh no- - its the water heater! And faster than you can say, Noah - where's the ark, my basement is flooded with several inches of water. Stayed up late to clean up the mess - who did I call the next day - Brennan heating and air conditioning- one of Puget Sound Energy's recommended contractors. Got several quotes over the phone between 8 AM and noon -Installers out by 3 PM, water heater installed by 4 PM. Hot water by 5 PM. Now that's what I call service! I wasn't without hot water for even 24 hours - Plus I could not be around to pay the bill and they were cool with sending me a bill in the mail after the tank was installed. more

I had a very bad experience with this company and would not recommend them. Their salesperson promised the world and knew absolutely nothing about the product they were installing (a Rinnai tankless water heater) or what the possible consequences of installing this product might be (ie, some of my fixtures are not compatible with the product, long delays in getting hot water to point-of-service, etc.). Bottom line is that the water heater does not work very well, after I went to great expense to have it installed. Brennan refused to do anything about the installation, and even collected the remaining 50% of the bill from my VISA account without any authoriztion from me -- even before completing the job. more

I had this company install a new high-efficiency furnace and Rinnai tankless water heater. The water heater has many idiosyncrasies that were NEVER mentioned, such as failure to work with my plumbing fixtures, ongoing maintenance on my part, and worst of all, incredibly long wait times to get hot water at the point of service -- we're talking 67 seconds to get hot water at a sink that used to take 20 seconds. I was assured they would take care of my concerns, but they never took substantive action at all -- that turned out to be all talk. Ultimately, I was extremely disappointed in their service. more
