Ive got a lot of cats and one of them was bleeding on Saturday. Wasn't sure if she was scratched or what. She was in pain so I took her to the Breeze cause they one of the few in Panama City that are open on Saturdays. I got there at 3:40 and waited till 4:38. The receptionists are very kind and caring and always kept me posted. She said I would be seeing Dr. Wagner but he was running late. She put me in a room at 4:38 and said he was still running behind and he told her to tell me even if he sees me and my kitty before 5:00 he would have to charge me an after hours charge (which I think around $100) The office visit is $44.00. I told them he was running late, not me so why would he? She stated it was policy. So at least they told me up front. So I left. I have so many cats that I could not afford all these charges. Those fees don't even cover the shots, xrays, or medicine. I can't say if he is a good doctor or bad, cause I never saw him but why do I get the feeling they care more about the money than your pets. more

I've been bringing my pets to Breeze Animal Hospital for 10 years, and have always had a great experience with them. The staff and Dr. Breeze have gone way above and beyond what many Vets would do to let me know that they truly care for my pets feelings and well-being. When I had to help my 12 yr old Golden Retriever cross over due to kidney failure, Dr Breeze let me and my daughter sit and hold her until we felt like we were ready, and stayed with us at the Hospital until 10:30 pm for our peace of mind. They also began administering chemotherapy treatments for one of our cats so that we wouldn't have to stress him by driving several hours weekly to Gainesville, FL for his chemo treatments. Dr Breeze has always spent time with us at our routine visits to make that sure we understood everything going on, and is sure to let you know that there is no such thing a a stupid question regarding your pets health. If you want to go to a vet that really listens, and treats each pet like it was their own, go to Breeze Animal Hospital. more

If you enjoy spending a little extra money, then this is the place for you. While the staff is hospitable, their fees are way to high. They are late in seeing you at your scheduled appointment time. After sitting in the lobby for 20 minutes they escort you into a room where you wait another 20 minutes. So 50 minutes later and $120 less, I walk out with my pet that just had a general check up and his yearly shots. Save your money and do yourself (and your pet) a favor - find another place. more

I've been using Breeze for about a year and have found the vets and other personnel to be excellent with my pets. The vets take the time to talk to you about your pet's condition(s) and I have never felt rushed while there. They always work up a price for services beforehand so there is never a surpirse. I will say that I find the prices to be a bit high for some things, but again, I know they have my pet's well being in mind. I plan to continue to use Breeze Animal Hospital. more

After days of calling every vet in the phone book to get help for my dog, including Breeze Animal Hospital, I became desperate and loaded her into the car figuring that if they saw her, they would feel compelled to help. The problem: I am new in town and my dog is in distressed labor. I admit that I should have had her fixed, but we were a little more remote in Illinois and it hadn't been an issue. Now in Florida, I am not an established client, so emergency services over the weekend were not available to me and my girl. Despite that, I still left pleas on every answering machine in town. To my surprise, no one called to help. After three days of being rejected, I showed up. For a bit, I allowed myself to be optimistic that she would finally get help even though I pleaded my case with Breeze on 2 prior occasions. I was wrong. They quickly went to work on an estimate that was nearly $2000.00. I explained again that I was new in the area and I had just spent my savings moving here. They then returned with a much less expensive estimate of $165 to put her to sleep. So, rather than work out a payment plan with me they had me put my dog down and made me feel like it was a horrible situation. And it was a horrible situation, but not the kind that happens, the kind they created by refusing to help save a life unless there was money exchanged. more
