First off, this place has great ambience, low light, candles and the live jazz music from the bar area drifted over and was wonderful. They were out of fresh bread when we were seated so our server brought us their gorgonzola cheese bread served in a charming little bucket free of charge! My husband had the filet which was very full-flavored and just melted in your mouth. I had a seasonal special butternut squash ravioli which was delicious with just the right hint of cinnamon. They have a great wine selection and the service was very pleasant and attentive. There were no negatives. Overall we had one of the best dining experiences we have had in awhile. Just a small warning that seating in the jazz bar can really fill up. After dinner we would have loved to hang out but there were no seats. We got married at the Portofino Hotel across the parking lot from the restaurant and cannot wait to have our first anniversary dinner at the Breakwater!
Pros: Food, ambience, service, parking
Cons: Limited seating in jazz bar
