Brazil-Walton, Melanie, Dvm - Paradise Pet Hospital

Our family dog recently got sick and we took her to this hospital. The veterinarian had little compassion for our sick dog and miss-diagnosed her giving her unnecessary, expensive treatments, that did not at all improve her condition. The Vet claimed she didn't have a ""crystal ball"" and it's not her fault. We took her home and watched her suffer until taking her back the next day and putting her down. We followed the advice of a trained animal doctor, who didn't even test our dog for a well know dog disease, (that we found out about in our own research later). We paid for the services provided but it is extremely evident that money is more important then providing services to actually leading to healing our poor dog. They didn't put effort fourth to healing her and finding the actual problem, just gave us expensive medicine and shots so we could watch the poor dog die. Me and my eight-year-old brother are devastated that people can be so heartless. Don't go into business to be an animal doctor if you have no compassion for a sick family dog. Everyone loves their animals and considers them to be members of their family. I would caution anyone to trust their family members in the hands of the vets in this hospital. more

I took my dog to several places around town before I ended up at Paradise Pet Hospital. I have seen a few different Vets three and they have all been great, very infomative and helpful. We fell in love with Dr. Brazil, she is so caring thta we see her every time we go now. The one-on-one attention and time taken wit heach pet family is great. She listens to every little idea or question I have. It was awful and heard breaking when they burned down but we visited them in their temporary spot and got great care then as well. Now that they are re-built and back in their regular place they are back to great business as usual. I just found out today that Dr. Brazil is running a spay/nuter clinic which will further help strays that have been found. A lot of the time they would check my dog for free and the vet even called me on the phone herself after service to see that things were progressing well. I love it there and can't say enough good things. I totally feel confident that my pets get the best care possible there. Dr. Brazil rocks!!!! Although it's a bit late in view of recent events, I have nothing but praise for the staff of Paradise Pet Hospital. We've taken our cats there for years and they always have a positive experience. It's a tragedy what happened recently but we will continue to bring our cats to see them as soon as the practice is back in business. Pros: wonderful service, relaxing atmosphere for both pets and people Cons: I can't think of anything bad! more
