The food here is great, I do not know of anywhere else that has greek food that tastes as good and has quality. I enjoy the gyro sandwhich the most, but the chicken and shrimp a La Avo are also one of my favorite dishes. A MUST GO RESTAURANT!!!!I just felt in love with this restaurant from my first visit. Everything is right there, from food, to atmosphere to service. A very clean restaurant with an outstanding service. Avo( the owner) and his sweet wife are always in the restaurant making sure that you feel like home. We always get a 5* service. Not to talk about the food, there is no dish that I did not try. Excellent, everything is cook to order and you can feel the freshness and the quality on every dish. My favorite food is the eggplant dish and Chicken A La Avo... yummy. Every time I go there I feel like home, I'm always well taking care and the place is so romantic. Bravo Avo was the most delicious greek food I have ever eaten! When I walked into the restaurant I was amazed at how welcoming and inviting the overall atmosphere was. The food is not overpriced and is perfect for either a date or a family gathering. The food itself is wonderful and I would definetly recommend it to anybody that is in Huntington beach because it is one of the best around! more

Called and made a reservation with the owner himself. Family run small warm and friendly restaurant in Huntington Beach. It looks like his wife works with the owner. Homemade cuisine, very greek, 10-12 tables in the restaurant. Ordered the Chicken AVO dish and it was fantastic, also had the greek salad, well done. I have been a loyal customer of Avo's for over 10 years and have recently gone to his new resteraunt, Bravo Avo. It was nothing short of my expectations. The service was fast and the entire atmosphere was welcoming and warm. It was the perfect place to go with my wife for a romantic evening out. I look forward to taking all of my friends and family there as well for lunch or dinner. Not only was the service and location in Huntington Beach great, but the food was spectacular. For the amount and quality of food you recieve the price is amazing! Very reasonable and it is unlike anything I have ever had before. I personally enjoy the chicken a la avo which always leaves me wanting more. One of the best places to go and eat, but make sure to have a reservation because space is limited. Avo, and the service where excellent! Started the dinner with the eggplant dip with fresh warm pita that was excellent. Then split a Greek salad which was fresh and lite. Then for main course girlfriend had the eggplant, which she thought was tender and prepared just right. I had the chicken Avo spicy which was one of the best chicken plates I have ever had. We will be back to try the lamb and steak and just to enjoy the nice atmosphere and Avo's very own beer. Pros: Avo's beer and the portions where great for the price. more
