situated in a quiet, charming street in a scenic beautiful town, one would think that a restaurant right by the water would offer a pleasant experience. think not! the place is overpriced and the waiters were rude and obnoxious. we ordered a steak medium rare, which came out decently medium rare, however the steak was as stiff as cardboard, and saturated with so much black pepper, so much so that all you tasted was black pepper...and i mean pieces of peppercorn not powder flakes of pepper. we also ordered a trout dish which smelled ""fishy"" and was not fresh, nor was it prepared properly. the zucchini slices that came with the fish was burnt to the point where i could have been eating another vegetable other than a zucchini and it would have tasted the same. not only was the food poor, but the service was as well. be prepared to be treated ""differently"" if you are an ""out-of-towner""! i highly, highly do not recommend this place. do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money somewhere else!
