The bottom line is this...were not in high school anymore...sorry this is the real world...some places dont even help to find you an externship or help with job placement...you cant expect everyone to hold your hand on you will never make it through this course called life. U have to prove yourself in you want great things...as far as wasting money...guess what education costs...its what u are able to learn from it and take from it that matters...and another helpful tip I have learned from one of the amazing teachers there...u want something go out there and grab it...if u want an amazing extership site ...or if u didnt want to wait a week or 2 for one..u should have been looking for it before the time was due...things cant be handed to u on a silver platter...or u will never know the meaning of hard work and acheiving your goals..I attend this school and currently I am going into my 6th mod..and honesty Ive seen some of the students act like there still in high school and Im the same more

Havc/r was a great program 5/10/2011

I learned a ton when I went to branford hall. I was so worried that i wasnt going to be able to afford it, but i did. i was looking into boces, and suffolk for hvac/r i never really heard about branford hall so i was a little hesitant when they called me to come in and check out the school. but i was pleasantly surprised. the labs were awesome we actually did work hands on. and meri in career services was great. she helped me get a job at national grid. Im really glad i went there. some advice go check it out it cant hurt to see if its what your looking for more

NOT worth your time and money... You learn a little of this and a little of that which is expected for a 9 month program but its not much. The classes are a joke and pretty much anyone can pass with an A. I was in the president's club (4.0 GPA & perfect attendance) 3 times and that has not help me one bit with finding a job. Most of their internship sites just use the interns as "free" labor so don't except to get hired.\r \r The school is ONLY interested in trapping people and making money. They claim that there are so many jobs and we are in high demand because we are new to the field and eager/willing to learn but that is NOT the case. MOST places want EXPERIENCE people and all you need is the 1 person who has experience over you and there goes your chances. The school claims to send your resume to places but who knows for sure and it doesn't help if they send 10+ resumes to a place hiring 1 person.\r \r I did well at that school and feel I was prepared for the real world office situati more

Horrible 7/16/2009

SOo HORRIBLE... I wish i knew someone before i wasted my money and time going there. You learn NOTHING and teachers dont care. They dont tell you when your done with your hours that graduation is 6months later. It took them over 2 weeks to place me at a site to do my externship. If you leave a message dont expect a call back EVER!! they onnly want your money Pros: NONE Cons: EVERYTHING more

    Professional Medical Assistant - Our Medical Assistant program can prepare you to perform duties such as:  taking medical histories and recording vital signs; explaining treatment procedures to patients; preparing patients for examination; assisting the physician during the examination; instructing patients about medications and special diets; administering EKGs; and much more!  Your medical assistant training includes an externship so you can begin your new career.


    Medical Billing and Coding - The program prepares students for an entry level position by gaining exposure to terminology; insurance forms; diagnostic and procedural codes; and procedures involved in processing medical insurance claims.


    HVAC Training - You will work with the latest tools; equipment and technologies; and will be trained by instructors with industry experience who know what today’s employers expect. The heating and ventilation as well as air conditioning industry is a fast-growing segment of the economy. HVAC/R technicians are busy year-round installing and maintaining along with repairing these systems in residences and commercial establishments.


    Paralegal - The Paralegal program includes comprehensive instruction in areas such as civil litigation; trust and probate; real estate law; commercial law and business organization law as well as computer technologies. You will also learn how to conduct legal researchand legal analysis along with legal writing.
