Brandywine Cyclery

Brandywine Cyclery opened in March of 2009, guided by the principle that "Passionate Riders Deserve Passionate Service." That was our mission statement then, and remains our mission statement every time we open our doors for business. Brandywine Cyclery is the passion project of owner/manager Matt Neugebauer. Matt saw a void in Northern Delaware, and Southeastern Pennsylvania, for a bicycle shop that was based on the foundation of solid customer service, and expert knowledge, with a world renowned bicycle brand behind us. Matt convinced his parents Tom, Nancy and brother Steve Neugebauer that he could make his passion for cycling and customer satisfaction work for us all.


We took possession of the former home of a Dollar Store in late January of 2009, and quickly got to work. Demo of the entire space was first in line, so that we could mold the space into a first class bicycle shop. With the help of many family friends with experience in the construction trades and the Specialized Design Team, we were able to design and build the bike shop of your dreams. Within three months, in March of 2009, we opened our doors for business and have been serving the needs of novice, experienced, and elite cyclists ever since.


The shop as it sits today has not changed structurally in the 3+ years we've been open. Perfection is more of a pursuit than a destination, and one that we strive for every day as we've added product lines and variety to provide our customers with what they want and what they need.


3+ years of business, and still going strong, Brandywine Cyclery has become a leader in the Bicycle Industry in Northern Delaware. The Neugebauer's passion for cycling has allowed this Family Business to become a continuing success.. * Standard Tune-Up
