When I was young my mother was the head OR nurse for a large hospital in Upstate N.Y. When ever I needed medical attention I would offten recieve it in the nurses lounge by one the hospitals best doctors. Care like that could not be purchased back then and is almost nonexistent now. more

Excellent Nurses and Staff 7/24/2009

Was recommended by another provider, after not being comfortable with my past GP on certain topics. Julie Umberger is wonderful. She listens well, and gives obvious thought to treatments, and explains it simply. She makes you feel comfortable regardless of what the appointment is for. Pros: Short to no Wait, Takes tim to listen more

Excellent 3/9/2009

We were referred to Brandon Health Management by our daughter, and I can honestly say they are excellent. My husband and I both see Julie, and we could not be happier with our choice. She is very thorough, and reallyeasy to talk to; such a God send for my family. My husband has a lot of health problems, and she stays focused on all his different issues, and trust me, they are many. Joe and Linda are great also. I have NEVER had a problem with billing, the office staff is friendly and helpful. I would reccomend Brandon Health Management to anyone. We have been patients for the past 5 years, and we will continue to be. Pros: excellent care Cons: sometimes hard to get a good parking place, but not very often more

Great care 10/9/2008

This place is great! Easy to get an appt. I am very picky when it comes to physicians. I went to the same doc for years until he retired and was lucky enough to have this practice refered to me. I drive approx 35 mi to see this group. I have never had a problem with billing and they have always given me referals when needed. I am not crazy about seeing an ARNP but Julie is the best. I still prefer Dr Joe but when in a pinch I have no problem trusting the other staff there. Pros: staff friendly and helpful very caring never have to wait Cons: difficult to find if not familier with area more

Overall a good doctor, however, the billing department leaves something to be desired. I was given misleading and inaccurate information. I wont say fraudulent, but defiantly negligible. I went in for a physical and got billed something else. Wouldn?t be such a problem, but my insurance wouldn?t cover all of it. Tried to talk to them to mediate the situation, but all I got was the run around and outright lies. Don?t bother with this office unless you want to lose some money and get your heart rate up.
