I always support local businesses first before traveling to a large retailer. We live in Woodstock and it's an awful shame when small businesses make such poor decisions concerning customer service. Recently my wife purchased a bracelet for a gift and went to return the item approx three days later. Receipt in hand product still boxed and she was notified at the counter that they would not give her a full refund. My caution with this decision is it gives consumers especially local consumers the impression that there may be financial hardships at that business in which they cannot afford to honor their policy which is printed clearly on the receipt. This experience will keep us from doing further business with them in the future or until they realize the hard lessons that come with poor and aggressive consumer service.
