Braithburn Academy

My child has been going to Braithburn for some time now. I was thinking about moving to a different city and was looking at other childcares, but I could not find one that was like Braithburn. The main teachers have been there for quite some time now and they have tons of education. One of the centers that I was looking at the teachers had only been there for a few months, the other center the teachers were very cold to the children. The teachers at Braithburn care so much for the kids that the kids want to come the next day, my child is so attached to one of the teachers he gets up set when she is not there (it only lasts a minute), but when he is up set he other teachers try to make him happy by gettig a game out, or a specila toy that works almost always and he is done crying by the time I'm out the door. I don't know what I would do with out them. Thank you Braithburn. My child loves you all. more

Our experience with Braithburn Academy has been amazing! Mind you, so far our experience with childcare/pre-schools has been that its either good-and-very-expensive or affordable-and-low-quality. Braithburn has been the wonderfull exeption to that rule. BA also turned out to be able to provide us with care when we needed it and that is also very unique in the field. Our three year old son is the youngest of three kids and he joined six months ago. He has evolved from shy and clingy to mom to outgoing and happy to be in pre-school. Braithburn's staff is professional, experienced and very passionate about what they're doing. I can definitely recommend the school. more

My child was attending Braithburn and the Staff there would not assist my child to catch a bus to go to a Riverview School District program. All they had to do was walk down the driveway to assist him on and off the bus but wouldn't take the 5 min out of the day to take care of a child. they did not spend time helping him be potty trained and accused the father of not properly disciplining the child and that every time the child came back that he was aggressive and out of line I'm here to say this child did not act that way while with his father or while with his mother. this child care establishment is not a good place to leave your children the Staff cant take care of the children and let them get out of control and then blame the child and threaten to kick the child out of daycare. THERE DOING BAD BUSINESS AND DON'T TRULY CARE ABOUT THE CHILDREN'S NEEDS. more

The staff has been so friendly and helpful with my daughter and me. They call me when my daughter has been working on something and finally gets it done. My daughter has been trying to cross the monkey bars, and she finally did and my daughter was so proud of her self that they let her call me and tell me all about it. It could not have come at a better time; I was having one of those days. I was so proud of her. Pros: great staff Cons: no air-conditioning more
