Boyd's Flowers

I am an Ex employee...Of Boyd's.... I will start by saying that they are awful at keeping up with orders.... I worked for them not too long ago....I have worked at the retail stores on Pennsylvania Ave... Also downtown on Market Street... I have witnessed how they make fun of their customers behind their backs.. And the manager at the warehouse... "Jackie" Is one of the worst people I have ever met... A back stabbing person if I have ever met one. Then there are a few others working at Boyds, that are they same way... They are the most diss respectful lot in Wilmington,DE. Do yourself a favor... "Don't Shop Here"... Spend you hard earned cash, where it is really appreciated.. and welcomed.. Try another florist here in town like" Belak Flowers, Bloomsbury flowers,there quite few other vendors, who will really take care of you... and really appreciate what business "You the customer" bring to their small shops... In mine,and quite a few other opinions... Boyds is in for a big downfall... They have numerous lawsuits against them... For not performing quality services.. Selling poor quality merchandise... Flowers that are old and, fall apart a day or two right after you get them... That means that they have had them for quite sometime already..."OLD STOCK" . Would you want your daughter, or son walking down the aisle... with flower petals falling from the Brides bouquet.....I think not... Stay away from Boyd's... Nothing but trouble from them , and for them... and its all thanks to the owners leaving it in charge, with someone who does not care about what counts.... Boyd's Flowers located in Wilmington is a great flower shop. The staff is really friendly and willing to give you good recommendations on appropriate floral arrangements, if you're less than perfect at picking out bouquets. They do charge for delivery but give you a good pretty immediate deliveries. Besides flowers Boyd's offers great gift baskets and gourmet treats. I'd highly recommend Boyd's to anyone in need of flowers or other surprise treats. more

I have used them on several occasions and was satisfied with my purchases. The flowers were fresh and elegantly displayed. The person that I sent the flowers to was thrilled with the display of the flowers. They also have a website which allows you to purchase flowers and other gifts. The prices are reasonable. They also deliver when the say they are going to deliver. more

Boyd's is the only florist that I use in the Newark area. Living out of state makes it pricey to send arrangements to family in northern Delaware through the traditional manners, but I was thrilled to find Boyd's online and see they offer free delivery. Doesn't get much better. The arrangements created by Boyd's are top-notch professional and extremely fresh. Deliveries are made on-time and without issues. Pricing for all products is very competitive, and even more so with the free shipping. Family and friends have always been more than thrilled with the arrangements sent to them via Boyd's. more

i needed flowers for a friend who graduated. i wanted them to look really great not just okay. i am so glad i went here!! the bouquet was so beautiful it was exactly what i wanted. plus they do free delivery! this place is great. they really know what they are doing. more

Boyd's is a popular florist in Wilmington and they do a great job. You often see thier trucks riding around town delivering flowers for both events and personal delieveries. They are very professional, easy to work with and reasonable priced. The flowers are beautiful and high quality. They do weddings as well and do a wonderful job coordinating flowers for the entire wedding party. more

We use Boyd's for all our flower needs, flowers last a long time and are arranged in beautiful baskets and vases. They even call my husband 2 weeks before Valentines day, my birthday and our anniversary so he never forgets! more

My husband uses Boyd's Flowers to send me gifts occasionally. The flowers are always gorgeous and last quite long. I know he has given them a call last minute before and they are able to deliver quickly. The staff is friendly and accomodating. I would definately recommend Boyd's Flowers to send a gift of flowers. more
