Box Lunch on Route 6 in Eastham is crazy busy at lunch time, but that speaks well of this smallish ""rollwich"" joint. Their pita roll-up sandwiches are definitely interesting and represent a good value. Obviously this is not a gourmet restaurant, but, if you're looking for a quick bite, you could do a lot worse than Box Lunch. When you walk in, the place seems completely nuts with people milling about. Your best bet is to take a look at the menu and step right up to the counter, as most of the people standing around have already ordered and are simply waiting for thier food. Don't worry about the crowd as this restaurant is very efficient and keeps your wait time to a minimum. I'd suggest taking your food out to one of the picnic tables to the left of the restaurant. It's close to the parking lot and traffic of Route 6, but it's still less chaotic than the small, crowded dining room. These rollwiches come in a mind-boggling varieties, but my family tried several versions and all were satisfactory. The rollwiches are relatively small so they won't ruin your dinner and they'll leave plenty of room for an afternoon ice cream while not putting too much of a dent in your wallet. Box Lunch is definitely worth a pit stop on your way home from the beach. Enjoy.
Pros: variety, speed, price
Cons: chaotic ordering & dining room
