Nice for Adult Hang Out Nite 8/9/2005

I recently went to Strike for an adults only hang out night and we had a blast. After 9pm, only 21 and over are allowed in. There's a HUGE bar serving every kind of drink and you bowl on these cool glow in the dark lanes. The music is playing, there's a dancefloor. They have go-kart racing too. It's a great place to go with a group of friends to hang out, have fun & just enjoy the night. It is on the pricey side, so it's not something to do every weekend, but for a get together every once in a while, I think it's great. more

Big on price, not very entertaining 8/2/2005

Strike is a relatively new development on Long Island, luring people in with bright lights and promise of a family fun indoor park. What I found is a cheesy, albeit colorful bowling alley, a bar, and a couple of go karts. Huge LCD screens were all over the bowling alley (how does one concentrate on getting a strike while cartoons are on??), and bowling was waaay too expensive. You're basically paying for their obscene electric bill. Not impressive at all. Jillian's has much more to do and does not need to be as flashy. Strike did not bowl a strike with me...barely a spare! more

This place has 27 lanes of glow in the dark bowling there is also an electric go kart track and many video screens and vip lounges. they have a huge menu for snack food when you want to take a break . They also offer catering and private parties. The place was clean and the people were friendly, but it was overpriced. Any other alley has the same "glowing bowling" on certain nights and it's cheaper and just as good more
