Bowers Heating and Cooling, Inc.

I was having some trouble with my furnace and wanted someone to come out and look at it. A friend of mine (from whom I would never take advice) said DONT call Bowers. I decided NOT to listen to him and wow do I regret it. They told me that "yes, someone will come out and look at it, we'll put your name on the board and give you a call when someone is available". I agreed knowing that I am at the bottom of the list, and would possibly not be seen that same day. Well, 6 days later, no call from them. I decided to call them back to see if they would just send someone to give me an estimate on just replacing my existing furnace and air conditioning because I am sick of the heating problems. Again, they said they would have someone call me back. 3 days later I am writing this review since nobody called me back. I want to support local business and this would be a $8,500 + job for Bowers. But they seem to have more important jobs. more

Excellent choice. Would use again in a second. Here within a couple of hours of initial call. Gave me an estimate for repair, and did not try to upsell me on an expensive replacement. Returned later in the day with parts and ultimately charged me about $135 LESS than he estimated. Was this review …? more
