Used to be that Bowcraft was a place you could go to take the kids for a couple of hours of summer fun. No more...
Now, if you want to put your child on a ride you have to pay $16 admission for the privelege of walking around in the hot sun. There is no shade to speak of at the park and if you happen to be pregnant or with a baby who cannot ride any rides it doesn't matter at all, you pay to walk in. How ridiculous.
Since my son was old enough to ride the rides, Bowcraft has been a place we have gone a number of times each summer to spend a couple of hours so he could have some fun with friends. This new pricing structure guarantees that we will go one time this summer if at all, and to be honest, it leaves me with the impression that Bowcraft doesn't want our business any longer. I can understand paying for parking, OK. I don't like it, but I'll deal. But really, making parents pay to supervise their children? Absolutely obscene. It makes me so angry I feel like avoiding the park in the hopes that reduced attendance makes them re-think their stupidity,
Maybe if enough people from the area refuse to go, they'll feel the impact in their pocketbooks and change their minds about the new admission policy. Fact is, you still can't ride the rides without a wristband, so why do parents who don't want to/can't ride need then anyway??
Maybe someone from Bowcraft can make an entry here to explain the "wisdom" behind their new policy?
