This is a great campground. We used to camp there for the entire summer along with a bunch of other familes. We would reserve sites near the canal - that's probably why it's hard to get one. We've been back as adults and the place is still great to stay at, prices are still reasonable, and it's a great place for biking. The canal, sadly, does not seem to have much for craps, starfish, or jellyfish anymore. Didn't check out the pond the last time, but when I was a kid, it was clean and would take the edge of the hot summer days! We have great memories of this place and the other families we met there.
