Worst vet experience I have ever had 11/9/2013

Boulevard Pet Clinic Worst vet experience I have ever had! \r Started with a phone call. The girl was really not polite. Even when I got there she had really bad attitude, I should have leave that second.\r I came for an ear infection, and leg pain thinking he is a good doctor. \r It took him 3 minutes to decide I need 6 different types of medicine. He couldn't explain me properly what was the problem, or how to treat it, but he gave me a good lesson on how much I need to pay.\r When I got the bill I couldn't believe it. It was really ridiculous, especially with not knowing what your paying for. \r Eventually I took only the pills I really needed and paid for the visit. \r The Cherry was when the girl in front accused me of stilling a $15 powder after they gave me the bag and I didn't even realize it's in the bag. \r I have 3 dogs, all defiantly wont see this vet ever again. And I WOULDN'T recommend this clinic to anyone!!! more

Dr Dave is the best\r Over the years he has cared for 3 of our dogs, my father's dog and a cat. I can't imagine a better vet. He knows our pets....he cares and he's been incredible kind and compassionate over the years. I guess that not everyone\r can have the same experience but ours has been second to none. We would not dream of trusting our babies with \r anyone but Dr Schwartz. more

a wonderful caring vet the best in town 11/19/2011

This is a review on behalf of our departed friend Lucy. She loved Dr Schwartz and he kept her healthy all her 12 years. And at the end when old age had caught up to her and nothing was humanly possible he helped her pass on in the most gracious way. This vet is compassionate and loves his four legged patients. Lucy gives Dr David Schwartz Five tail wags from heaven We added to our family a beautiful puppy called Daisy who Dr Schwartz was so tender with and she also loved him. Unfortunately we lost our little Daisy due to over breeding and heart problems. Dr Schwartz was there for us all the way. What everyone needs to understand about David is that he really cares about his four legged patients. more

The best vet in the valley with the kindest staff around! 4/27/2011

I have had dogs my entire life, so therefore I have gone to many vets throughout the years for different reasons. By a miracle, I wound up at Dr. Schwartz office and I will never have to go anywhere else again. Not only did Dr. Schwartz save my dog's life, but he is also very kind and gentle with ALL of my pets. It is clear how much he cares about each and every one of them individually. Also, I have never been treated as kindly as I am by his staff. Not only are they extremely professional but knowledgable and very helpful too. Roberto is the master at putting you at ease and someone who is very helpful and kind. I also take my dogs to get bathed there as well. It's a one stop shop if you want to be treated well and your pets completely cared for. I highly recommend Blvd. Pet Clinic!!!! I have never written a review before for anything, but I just had to share my opinion about this wonderful clinic. more

Dr. Schwartz is the best in town! 4/26/2011

I do not understand why some people are mean spirited. Dr. David cannot save every pet that comes to his clinic. Some pet owners are very careless with their pets and do not pay any attention to what their pet eats. If you bring your loving pet to the clinic and the doctor sees that the pet has been neglected, the doctor will not have a friendly face. He is a veterinarian because he likes animals. People pay him to treat animals not humans, and I know he is very loving with the animals. That is all it matters.\r I have been a satisfied customer for over five years. I have four dogs and all them are Dr. David?s patients. My dogs have been treated for liver condition, tumor removal, to simple extraction of fox tail. I have always felt that my dogs have received the best treatment under his care and I am sincerely thankful to Dr. David for curing my dogs.\r As far as the groomer lady is concern, she is also a wonderful person. Our 17th year with Dr. David Schwartz 1/4/2011

Dr. David has been our Vet for 17 years. Our dogs have enjoyed his personal attention their entire lives. In December 2009 our 15 year old Pom/Maltese suffered a stroke. Three different times over the next week we took him to see Dr. Schwatrz believing we might be bringing him home and every time he encouraged us not to give up and after the third time we had all him stabilized to the point where he didn't return to the doctor for months. It's over a year now and although he's slowing down a little, this little 16 year old dog shows no signs of the stroke, can still go on an occasional hike, still goes up and down stairs and still has a big appetite. Thank you Dr. David for all the great years of care for our three dogs!\r TS more

damm lucky i dont sue 10/8/2010

so my lab got spayed on monday and today we took off her bandage from the iv and guess what the needle was still inside her....the needle was an inch or longer and about a 16 g and when i call him he could care less and didnt even say sorry. i had to rush her to another vet to get antibotic and pain meds.she had a hematoma is her leg now. So i am gonna have to agree that this vet is a quack and should chose another career path. and yes it was the dear dr schwartz. needless to say i am not paying him anything more

Confused by negative reviews 7/6/2010

If you want your hand held and a vet that's going to tell you what a wonderful person you are don't go here. Dr Swartz may be a bit direct, but he is amazing with animals! If you want the best possible care for your pet at reasonable rates this is the place to go. His incredibly friendly staff more than makes up for his direct nature. Pros: Excellent doctor, super friendly staff Cons: None more

IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET- STAY AWAY!!!!!! 5/4/2010

Beware of David Schwartz!!!! The best thing about his practice is the front desk staff- nice and friendly. The older lady he has as a groomer looks as if she hasn't bathed in weeks.\r \r As for him, he is not fit to practice veterinary medicine. When he walked into the exam room, which was dirty, he was picking his teeth and didn't seem interested in what I had to say about my cat. When his assistant began turning my elderly cats carrier upside down to get him out, I had tell him several times that I would get him out- basically, I was ignored. Additionally, Dr. Schwartz is anything but gentle with animals- he treats them as if they are pillows. It didn't surprise me to learn that he went to vet school out of the country- the Philippines I believe it was- a country where they eat cats and dogs.\r \r IF YOU LOVE AND CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, STAY AWAY FROM DAVID SCHWARTZ DVM!!!!!! more

Most OUTSTANDING vet you'll ever find!!! 4/7/2010

Dr Schwartz has been our vet for over 20 years.! Our first Great Dane lived to be 11 years old under his care. A few mos ago our barely 3 years old Great Dane, Freya, got extremely ill. Two emergency vets couldn't figure out what was wrong w/her. Dr. Schwartz diagnozed her w/Autoimmune Disease. He took her in for 4 days to stabilize her, after about 3 weeks of treating her at home she got pneumonia, and we thought for sure she wouldn't make it. We were debating putting her to sleep, as she was all skin and bones and we couldn't afford to treat her anymore. Dr Schwartz offered to treat her for free purely out of his good heart. Dog has gained 20 lbs, and feeling good. Where else in this world would you find ANYBODY who would offer to do that???? Pros: DR SCHWARTZ HAS A HEART OF GOLD more

No Smile, Expensive, but Great Pet Care 11/25/2009

I still go back after never getting a smile. The office always can get me in. The doctor always helps in an emergency. The fees are super high.. Don't you dare question fees or you will get a serious frown... The long and short of it is... The staff makes up for the very uptight doctor. They are the best. Just expect that you will be treated with zero respect by the doctor and do not take it personally. You animal will be in great hands, but you will get the love from the staff. Pros: Great Pet Care Cons: Never got a smile or a financial brea in 9 yrs more

Wonderful 9/26/2009

Yesterday I had to make the biggest decision of my life, and that was to put my dog to sleep. Everyone at Blvd. Pet Clinic was amazing and supportive. Dr. Shwartz was incredibly calm and caring as he explained the situation to me. He seemed genuinely sad and I could tell he really was concerned. more

Best Vet EVER! 9/4/2009

Dr Dave saved my cat. He, unfortunately, had developed kitty asthma due to being around a smoker outside. Another vet gave him a shot of prednisone that cured the asthma but was killing his liver, shutting down his kidneys and gave him transitory diabetes and a urinary infection on top of it all. We thought he was a goner for sure. Enter Dr Dave. After a 4-day stay, Iddo was all better, and an almost new cat. Dr Dave gave Iddo another five good years, and finally went to the Kitty Angels when he was 15. We now take our new kitties to Dr Dave, and they couldn't be healthier or happier! Highly recommend! Pros: Everything Cons: nothing more
