Thank you Boulder Valley Dental for making my teeth cleaning pain free! Shanda, the hygienist went the extra mile to make my visit go without experiencing any sensitivity. I noticed the older I get the more my teeth are sensitive to those instruments they use to clean my teeth. I told this to Shanda and Dr. Hughes and they ensured me that they would take care of me and make my visit pain free! Well they kept their promise. I no longer have that feeling in my gut when I have to go to the dentist and know I'm in good hands. There is no doubt in my mind this is the best dental office in Colorado! I can't thank you enough! My daughter also had to have a filling and they use a device that makes the injection pain free, my daughter asked them when she was going to get the dreaded "Shot" and they told her they already did. She asked me when she could go back because she just loves the staff and how they made her feel good about getting dental work! more

While I was out of town, I broke an old crown. Got back in town and called Boulder Valley Dental Ctr. I really needed to get the crown replaced soon. The staff at Boulder Valley Dental Ctr got me an appointment right away and Dr. Hughes made time for me to come in and get the crown removed and the prep for a new crown on a day the office normally doesn't take patients. The new crown came in very shortly, Dr. Hughes replaced the temp with the new crown in a very quick, painless procedure. I decided not to have novacain which was a wise choice because the procedure was fast and I had no pain. I have also been very pleased with the hygienist during my teeth cleaning. The staff has always been friendly and professional and just for me plays Rolling Stones music during my visits. What more could a person ask for? more

They say you get what you pay for- Well I think my family got much more and my family’s health is priority number 1. Dr. Hughes’ advanced knowledge and cutting edge technology changed my view of “old school” - torture dentistry. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!! more

Good: Friendly staff. Bad: Unfortunately, Dr. Hughes doesn't stick to the quotes given by her office staff, and her services are EXTREMELY expensive. She told me I'd lose all my back teeth within a years time. This alarmed me, and since that time I have been told by my periodontist that no one can predict such a thing, it is impossible to tell when one will lose their teeth.. Other: All in all, I felt Dr. Hughes naivity was an insult to my own intelligence, and would strongly urge you to find better dental health care in a more qualified dentist.. more
