Boublis Electric has been an insititution in Hawthorne for years. That being said, I think he is getting ""too comfortable"". His electrical work is fantastic, and I am told there is no one else better at wiring. However, he is very unreliable. He showed up over 2 weeks after the promised start date. The ""1 day"" job went on for 7. Some dyas, he was on site at 8 AM, other days not until after noon. Some days, he worked until 4 (never a minute later), some days he left at 11, or 2, or 3. He often would leave the work site unannouced for over an hour. He gave no advance warning that furniture would need to be moved or covered, as a result much of my items ended up covered in dust and pieces of wall material. He would advise a room is done (and I would clean it up), only to work in there again the following day (and make a new mess). He allowed household pets to escape, and made no efforts to help retrieve or corrale them - if I was not in the yard at the moment, the tenant's pet would have escpaed entirely. Items were broken, and no one ""fessed up"" until I confronted him with it. His assistant on this job was a smoker that would leave his butts everywhere (lawn, driveway, yard, porch) and was quite confrontational. He may have built a good reputation, but he is not working hard to defend or maintain it. If you choose to work with him, please get a firm cost and time estimate, a promise of cleaning and containment of dust/debris, and a promise to repair damaged walls. Learn from my mistake. I would not recommend Boublis Electric, and will tell my tale of woe to any that ask.
