I took my dog in because he has recurring rash and the vet usually prescribes a steroid and antiobiotic.I went in today where I met a new vet who seemed rushed and uninterested in properly assessing the situation. He tried to sell me some flea and tick treatment and send me on my way. After some pursuading he reluctantly prescribed me the needed meds which he would have seen had he properly read the chart.I then asked him if he would cut my dogs nails. He grabbed my dogs feet and began to hastily hack away, to the point where he cut too far and my dog began profusely bleeding. He then put a dab of liquid on the toe and left the room.He was gone for over 20 minutes when I had to yell for him to come back because the whole time my dogs toe was still gushing . So he then proceeded to wrap a rope around my dogs snout and neck as a muzzle to the point where my dog could barely breathe and was foaming at the mouth.I demanded he take the barbaric muzzle off and we left! I will never go back ther again. I have boarded my animals there in the past but feel like if this is how they treat animals in front of owners how must they be treated behind closed doors!?
