Great Neighborhood Spot 12/16/2008

I think Boston Dog is a great little neighborhood pet shop. They have a lot of stuff that you can't find at other places and the staff when I have been there is very helpful and knowledgeable about the products. They even suggestion lower price alternatives to some of the items that I chose. \r \r I have brought my dog here for grooming and they have done a great job and she really seems to feel comfortable going here. \r \r I would highly recommend Boston Dog for grooming or shopping! Pros: Great Grooming, Friendly Staff Cons: Small Selection of Certain Items more

I Disagree 5/2/2008

I have to disagree with the other reviews listed. I went into Boston Dog last week\r and I loved it. I thought that the prices were affordable and it was very clean and cute.\r The toys were adorable and my dog loved the flower cookies. I stopped in by chance\r on my way home from work and I loved it. The young girl with the lip ring at the desk \r was very helpful and very sweet. She also was very good with my dog. I had a great experience\r at the Boston Dog, and I definitely plan on returning. Pros: Good Service, Affordable, Nice merchandise more

Yikes - bad service, super-expensive 4/16/2008

Just went to Boston Dog during my lunch break for the first time. The review below gets it right - stay away when the girl with the lip ring is working. I had all sorts of questions but she was on the phone and could not be disturbed. There are no prices on anything, so when I go to purchase some treats and they ring up at $14 for a small bag I walked out. I like to support the small businesses, but I don't think I'll be back to Boston Dog. more

Cute and quaint. UNFRIENDLY WORKER!!! STALE DOG COOKIES! 4/8/2008

So, we live down the street from this establishment. Ive been in there many times and always had a good expierence. I was in there today around 12:00pm. WOW! WHAT AN UNWELCOMING EMPLOYEE!!! She didnt even say ""hello"" or"" may I help you?"". She just looked to a friend who was literally laying on the chair in the window , like I was disturbing them. Both looked extremley tired or hung-over whatever. Needless to say they both gave off an impression like they hated the job and all they wanted was for me to leave!. \r To top t all off, I bought a cookie for my dog #1 it's april 8 2008. They still had snowmen cookies and shamrocks!! Cant be good. I bought an other cookie that wasnt holiday themed and my dog honestly wouldnt eat it. When I picked it up I tried to break it in half... LOL! NOT POSSIBLE!! STALE!! \r A word of advice if you like feeling welcome or have questions about produckt dont go to BOSTON DOG when the girl with the lip ring is working!! I think the owners should just keep running it before it goes down b/c of unwelcoming, sorry excuses for an employee! Pros: they carry INNOVA dog food. Cons: Worthless employees more
