This Boscov's seems as if it hasn't been changed since the 70s or 80s. That's a major improvement compared to the Boscov's in Echelon Mall in Voorhees, which, with its mirrored ceiling, never fails to give me a headache. Now onto the review...
A lot of the merchandise hasn't been changed for years. When I entered the store the other day, summer merchandise was out on the floor. When I left, employees had boxed up whatever was remaining to put out Halloween decor. Boscov's carries a lot of items, like candy, sporting goods, and electronics, but nothing is truly a bargain. Try Target for a better deal on the stock. If you do shop here, make sure to look in the Philadelphia Inquirer for coupons. They often run Register Roulette, where if you are lucky, you can save 100% on your purchase.
The garden shop here is a disgrace. The only plants are weeds that have overtaken the place.
In my opinion, the teenage department is the only one that is special.
Location: Near CVS and Payless ShoeSource. Boscov's is at the very end of the mall, away from Lord & Taylor and Sears.
