This is a very nice Borders book store, with a roomy seating area in the coffee shop, which now serves Seattle's Best coffee, as well as some snacks and desserts. This store tends to be much quieter than the Barnes and Noble on California, which tends to be short on seating, making it hard to pore over books you're considering. The bargain book section tends to be smaller and more static than the one at B&N. Also, the music selection is quite good, and there are enough listening stations that it's usually easy to find one open. The store is nicely lit for reading, and there isn't any music obnoxious enough that I've ever noticed it. There is also some outdoor seating just outside of the coffee shop.
