Boone is a great school, and was recommened to me by serveral friends whose children attended. The facility is clean, the teachers are great. They do a lot of projects. My son is currently in the mothers day out program, and has learned a lot and enjoys going. He will be attending preschool next year. The owner is very involved. My other son will be attending next year as well. I would highly recommend this school to others. more

Very good school, even the mothers day out! 2/6/2006

I am on my second child with Boone, and the cirriculum is solid, the teachers are great. My kids have both been happy there. The mothers day out is in a smaller room, but it has its own bathroom, only ten kids, and many projects! They don't have alot of toys, but are willing to take donations I am sure. They are busy little kids, and do so much more than play, that I don't think they even miss the toys! The MDO teacher is great too! All the teachers are great. You can't go wrong! more

LOTS of kids - LOTS of Happy Parents 8/13/2005

Large and clean facility but I was not happy at all with the set up for the Mother's Day Out Program - a tiny room and not many toys for the kiddos. I understand the preschool is an entirely different program and TONS of kids attend. The classrooms are nice and the facility is clean. The owner is very involved in the day to day operation and I have heard nothing but wonderful things about her. The Mothers Day Out program wasn't right for us, but we may be back for Preschool. more

Owner Message

  • -Boone Preschool is designed to aid in the young child's physical, social,emotional, cognitive, and creative developmental growth. Our program offers developmentally appropriate activities, adult to child interactions, and child to child interactions. It further offers each child the opportunity to learn in a fun and productive environment. Thematic units are appropriate approaches to instruction. Within every unit are experiences to develop in all areas. Learning centers are also used and designed to support development in all areas. There are 10 children in the 3,4,and 5 year old rooms. there are 8 children in the 2 year old room. -Teachers are either degreed or have their CDA's. We offer a 3 section playground which offers many options for gross motor development. We bring in Happy Feet soccer once a week (at an additional cost).. -We offer full time childcare. Our hours are 6:45 to 5:30 monday through friday. Fulltime children receive preschool from 8:30 to 11:30 and again from 3:00 to when they are picked up. -We also offer preschool only. Children may attend MWF or T/TH from 9 to 1 for 2 and 3 year olds and 9 to 3 their pre-k year.
