Its a very cozy place. Little baskets and artifacts on the walls and the ceiling make it a fun, casually romantic atmosphere. The food is very good. I do love dishes with pork, and there are several of those. There are hot and spicy items, and also very tropical sweet dishes served with rice. Good prices and good food describe this place. Even my boss and co-workers knew about this place when I told them about it! Best Filipino food in SLC 4/12/2005

Try the appetizer combo plate, and the coconut shrimp. It's difficult to order anything here that you will not like. Nothing else matters 12/11/2004

I personaly have lived in 5 different states, one being california. San diego to be exact. If anyone has ever lived in San diego then you know about the diversity of the food and people. San diego has about 90 different dialects spoken there, and as many different restuarants to go with. Boondocks has some of the best food I have ever eaten.(period) The owner is refeshingly nice and curtious, the restuarant itself looks like a menagerie of plants and pictures. Overall I love this restuarant and go about 2 or 3 times a month. The prices cant be beat and it's definitley worth the trip. Pros: FOOD, MANAGEMENT, PRICES Cons: , no beer, no beer more
