Great Shop 1/9/2013

This shop has been owned privately in Delaware for over 20 years, remaining it's charm for small business America. They have a great selection of magazines, even for the special enthusiasts(knitting, collectibles, cooking) as well as a walk in humidor for the cigar lovers. I buy all my lottery tickets there and splurge a bit for the collection of loose candy! more

Great Magazine and Cigar Selection 12/2/2009

I'm kinda confused about this other review here. The store that this person is describing is not set up nothing like Books and Tobacco. At any rate, I have been buying cigars and magazines at this place ever since I moved to Wilmington and have always had a decent experience. more

A pathetic bookstore 8/12/2005

This is the worst bookstore I have ever been to. I did not find a worse adjective to describe this store. They are situated in a den-like buildings. The entrance to the store itself is very narrow. I wonder what would happen when there is a fire in the store. Not many could escape. They had advertised in the local paper with all big claims but when I visited them during a weekend they just did not have a lot of things that they had advertised. When I enquired about their lack of facilities they just shrug it off saying that they are coming. And even after a month they did not have all the books/facilities they had advertised. more
