New Owners 8/20/2008

The store is under new ownership. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The selection is good and the store is very organized for a used book store. Worth checking out and it is my new favorite book store:} more

New ownership - Very Friendly 5/10/2008

I just stopped in and found out that Books and Books is under new ownership and they are extremely friendly. The great atmosphere is still there but it is run by a great couple with two teenage sons. more

Smaller shop, but good deals 8/18/2005

Books and Books, located across from the hardware store and TSJ Chinese restaurant, is a pretty small shop. However, it does have a decent selection of books are fairly good prices. The decor isn't much, but the staff is friendly and willing to help you find any book you. Considering Antioch does not have a lot of used book stores, Books and Books is worth checking out a time or two. more

Books & Books is a fairly small used bookstore located in a strip mall across from the shopping center containing Straw Hat and such. Its main weakness is its somewhat small selection of books. If you are looking for a specific book you are likely to leave disappointed. The staff is decent, but not overly friendly or helpful. more

My New book store 8/15/2005

Awesome lil book store, very friendly, nice selection of older books.. Will order books by request.. Couple of chairs to relax in and they didnt mind i had a soda, which was nice. Found a few treatures also.. Would recommend anyone whos into bookstores to check them out.. One thing i didnt like was how the associate replied when asking about buying books. but everyone has their bad days. :-) more
