good for buying, not good for selling 10/3/2005

basically, this store is great for buying books, music, and software. They're prices are unbelievable. But there's a reason for that....(obviously). Because when you sell them your used goods, they pay you an unbelievably ripped off price for your bulk. My brother sold them like, 20 pounds worth of books and they paid him like $5. That's so crap! And the resell price is almost over 2 times that amount. Freaking leechers....=_=++ They're software actually looks a bit on the questionable side....so I wouldn't recommend anything beyond books. more

Great place to shop 9/27/2005

Bookman's buys, sells and trades used books, video games and CD's records, etc. It is a great place to browse, trade and buy. The place is huge so they have a great selection. lots of chairs to sit and read and stacks and stacks of books and music and games. The location is really big and they have other locations also. more

Book Lover's Paradise 8/31/2005

This is the absolute best used bookstore that I have ever been to. Mass selections of used paperbacks and hardbacks of all types. They also carry used cds, magazines, puzzles, video games, records, laser discs, dvds, comic books, and videos. The store is enormous and very clean. They have an efficient help desk and at least 10 staff members on hand. Their trade-in policy is great and every once in a while the cash register even announces a free purchase. more

lots of books 8/29/2005

This place has used books and music. They have a huge selection of books. Everything you could think of. They buy used books from customers so their inventory is constantly changing. They don't offer alot of money for your trade-ins so it is better to take the store credit. They also have movies that are alittle over priced. They also have video games. Parking is a breeze, the lot is huge. more

A treasure trove 8/3/2005

Bookmans selection is constantly changing as they buy used books and music on a daily basis. THeir prices are low and the quality of their materials is very good. It's a great place to spend time browsing and reading. Their kids section is messy but fun and children will enjoy sitting down to look at their favorite selections. They sometimes have live music on the weekend, so call ahead to see if this is an option. more

Trade in your old books for new ones 7/29/2005

I love Bookmans because I can take the old books that I'm done reading and trade them in for new ones! Since I rarely read a book more than once - a place like this is perfect. You can trade in your books for store credit or take cash. They don't take every book so you have to be prepared for that as well. But you can find just about any book you are looking for here and also they have a music section. A great place to people watch as well! more

Bookman's 7/11/2005

Bookman's Used Bookstore is a great place to find some older unusual books that are hard to find at some of the newer bookstore chains. This store is very inviting. They have large lounge chairs to sit in, and browse through all the books. They will also buy gently used books, video games, records, tapes, DVD's, and lots more. They give you a percentage to use in the store, or as cash. Associates are great. They are very friendly, and can help locate a book for you if you need them to. more

Used books 6/30/2005

Bookman's is a really cool used bookstore. I love this store, because you can bring in all of your old books, music, magazine, video games, movies, etc. and they will buy them from you. You can either get a credit to use in the store, or they can write you a check. They have a great selection of discounted books to buy, plus they have a nice area to sit and read or browse through books. Associates are very friendly, and helpful. more
