I went in there about 3 years ago and was looking for a book on my ancestor. All of the other book places did not have the book. The Book Nook didnt have it either but they were able to locate a copy and order it for me. I would definitley go back and get a book from them again!! more

The Book Nook 4/10/2006

This is my favorite stop every time I come to Monroe. I remember spending long summer days in here, reading and looking for new things to stick in my beach bag to read. The Book Nook is quaint, and has a great selection and a wonderful price. The staff is helpful and sweet, and if they do not have what you are looking for, they will help you find it. If you have a few moments, stop on in the Book Nook. more

Great family bookstore... 8/20/2005

As a child I used to go to the Book Nook all of the time because I like to read, and it had all books that I was looking for. Now as an adult, I still go there for the same reasons. They have a wide variety of books for the whole family. They have very competitive prices and some specialty items not found in the larger chain bookstores. Their service and staff is very professional. This is a place I recommend highly. more
