I read an average of 30 books a month, and it's hard to find new books in the big chain stores that I haven't read. This store carries older books and books no longer in print, so there's always something I haven't read in this store. It's harder to find things if you're looking for something specific as it's not organized by author, just category, but the people are friendly and the prices are EXCELLENT! more

They have alot 11/7/2005

I enjoy visiting The Book Barn when I'm in the area shopping. I usually spend several hours looking through the categories because the books are not organized by author. The staff is friendly and if you ask, they will help you try to locate a book. If you call ahead and let them know the titles you're looking for most times they will check and see if they can find them and set them aside before you arrive. With the good prices I've been able to add alot to my home library. more

Lots of books 9/12/2005

This store has tons of used books to look through. It is organized by the type of book it is. Even though books are in categories, if you are looking for a specific book it is very difficult to find it because they are not organized by title or author or anything. THere is so many to look through it would take forever. But they do have some great books. They also have a children's section of books and they sell some new ones. more
