I have dine at all the BBQ restaurants in Jacksonville, even north to Maryland & west to Texas but no one beats BONO'S. The pure taste of the meat come from Harvey, main cooker who has been there over 50 years and give BONO'S it's personality. When Harvey retires there is going to a great lose. At all the other BONO's here in Jax it is not the same. One day I met a man who flies from New York to Jax, has lunch at BONO's, drives to Miami for business back to Jax eat at BONO's and flies back to NY. He's biggest regret was when he retired.
