Bonnie's Formal Fashions

We went to Bonnies because we wanted to support a small business in our home town & we were not disappointed! They ladies there were so helpful with picking out my wedding dress and didn't just let me buy any dress off the rack, they took the time to let me try on a bunch of different styles to find the one that worked the best for my body type. (I am a plus size bride) We also did our brides maids, tuxes & got a great gift back for doing our wedding through them! They gave us a condo stay for 7 nights! I couldn't believe it when they told us that!! Why wouldn't I want a condo trip?! So, if your wondering whether or not you should go there, I would say I recommend Bonnies to anyone who wants to have their day made special & not just like another customer! more

I've been to Bonnies many times. Once when I was a young girl going to my jr. high dance and now as a bride. I have enjoyed bonnies workers and their excitement for my big day. They made me feel special and they were all very helpful when I was looking for my bridesmaid dresses. Bonnie and her husband Gary are some of the sweetest people. I am having a 50s wedding and Gary suggested some awesome formal wear for the men. Bonnie has been very inviting and sweet to work with. I feel very taken care of at the shop and am excited for the dresses to come. It is a great place to go for many different sizes. That is definitely important because every dress fits a girl differently. I am impressed by the options and choices that Bonnies Formal Fashions provide for my bridesmaids. Couldn't ask for better service! more

DO NOT ORDER! Use this store as a place to try on, to take photos, to look. . . but think twice before ordering. Things do not come in when they promise. We ordered bridesmaids dresses for my wedding at the end of Sept. They were suppose to come in mid-Dec. They didn't arrive till just this week - the second week of FEBRUARY!!! When we would call it was obvious no one cared out the issue. The dresses were paid in full (BIG mistake) so they had their money. They kept saying ""2 weeks"". We'd call again and get the same answer. Bonnie would say ""I'm a sitting duck just like you - waiting for them to come"". That's BULL! You are the owner. Be proactive and find out WHERE these dresses are. Then we were told they did ship and should be there the following week. We called on Friday - the last day of that following week and Bonnie's husband said ""Let's hope they shipped before the Chinese new year"". (They come from China to the dress manufacturer in the US THEN to Bonnies) What kind of thing is that to say to a stressed out wedding party?!?! We were under 2 months from the wedding by the time the dresses came in. That's not much time to do alterations. I should also mention that one bridesmaid lives in another state (and it's NOT MO! lol) She was in town twice AFTER the initially promised arrival time. I had to ship her dress to her house at my expense because they took so long to come in. Maybe it wasn't Bonnie's fault. . . Maybe. . . maybe they didn't really place the order when they said they did. Bridesmaids dresses don't normally take over 4 months to come in. Oh and there were only 2 dresses!! But regardless Bonnie's didn't give a damn that they weren't there. The answers were crap. They didn't try to find out where the dresses were and I lost a TON of sleep over this. So Bonnie's has great hours for a bridal store. You can take pictures in the dresses (some places won't let you do that). So go there to window shop but think twice about ordering! more
