My family and i truly loved the ice cream and the cute patio they have outside with shade, chairs and tables. We stopped by for fourth of July and had a great view while we all sat and ate our ice cream together more

Bonnies gives you the best service when booking parties with Jim and Bonnie. We booked a graduation party not too long ago and the service was like no other service we have ever had at other banquet facilities. Bonnies has seating for 100 guests and depending on the party packet one picks, your party guests can play pool in the beautiful billiard room, next door, right after the meal. They really do have a lot to offer and our next party will certainly be booked with them again more

Many people still think that Bonnies dining and banquets is closed to the public, but those people are wrong! Spending an evening at Bonnies for the Wednesday, Chicken Fry Buffet or maybe just to stop in for a little Petersen's Ice Cream and/or Lezza's Italian Ice is very much worth it. For those of you who don't know, the Wednesday, Chicken Fry is phenomenal. Best chicken in the state! Besides the chicken, Bonnie actually has a variety of homemade salads which are also very addicting. My personal favorite is the marinated carrots, but there is a choice between that and also a few more; marinated Cole slaw, three beans, sweet sour beats, cheesy mac and occasionally the cottage cheese. After your dinner, if you're not too stuffed, a nice dessert is one of their newly added items, a scoop of vanilla ice cream with a scoop of pomegranate Italian ice. best combination! &on the other end, there is the famous Illinois Billiard Club, which is also open to the public Wednesdays after your dinner for a very fair price of $6.00 per person hourly. I love this place ! I am eating some of Bonnies fried chicken as i write this review and it is beyond what words can describe. Its delicious ! Really nothing you can find anywherewhere else would ever compare. Its not just ANY kind of fried chicken. I have heard many people brag on and on about it but you will only understand once you drive out to Bonnies Dinning and Banquets and check for yourself. It will not let you, your loved ones or anybody down. Bonnies home made salads are the best as well ! They have a taste to them that will have you hooked ! And you will be back for more. Bonnies has been open for parties ever since it was built and is also open on Wednesday for their mouth watering fried chicken ! They are open from Tuesday to Sunday and, sadly, closed on Monday, from 5 to 9 for delicious Petersen's ice cream or Lezza's italian ice. I love what they have to offer for ice cream and italian ice. Bonnies has been in service for many years and has an outstanding history. Some of its history can be read in the room right next to the dinning room, the Illinois Billiard Club room . The idea of the club sparked up with one table in the basement of the former home of the two owners. The place has really come a long way since then. The fine establishment is definitely worth checking out. more
