My first visit was quite lovely and I was fit to a new size and purchased beautiful bras. Later, I went back for a strapless bra to wear under my wedding gown, sure that this was the perfect place to shop. The bra suggested to me fit well, but stuck out at a funny angle against my ribcage. Both the associate and I were concerned about how it would lay or protrude under my dress. I was told, "Don't worry! We love brides and want this to be as stress free as possible!" The associate then proceeded to tell me all about how she was getting married in two weeks and understood the stress, and assured me this was a non-issue. "Take it to the dress fitting and try it. If it doesn't work, then bring it back! I'll even extend the return date" she told me. This should have been my first clue of their unusual return policy. At no time was it mentioned that the bra was not RETURNABLE. They do have a sign posted by the register and make you initial the receipt that their merchandise is only EXCHANGEABLE. The sales associate did an excellent job implying that I could return it while keeping my attention on her & her wedding when she should have been explaining the return policy. When I did return with the bra because it showed horribly through my dress, I was treated very aggressively by a woman who I think is the owner. For a financially conscious bride, I was heartbroken to learn not only was I out a bra, I was also out my money! Yes, I have a store credit, but I can not put that towards my wedding costs! I feel completely PLAYED. Who shops local, downtown businesses to have to be leery of fine print and sales tactics? They do have beautiful bras, but make sure you LOVE it before buying.
