Went to the Bonfire for a graduation day celebration. The restaurant was alittle crowded, but the dining experience there was poor. They couldn't provide enough glassware and plates for water and bread. The server acted like they were dying from over work. 20-30 dollars per entree and eat bread off the tablecloth, low class place. Pros: close to the house Cons: marginal service, bad dining experience more

Exceptional Experience 5/16/2008

Last night, a friend and I ventured to Homer Glen for dinner at Bonfire. I was beyond impressed!!! For such a remote location, we were treated to a downtown dining experience. The staff and service were pleasant and prompt. My filet mignon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, as was the chicken dish that my friend requested. The sangria was flavorful and potent. Even the dessert was moist and delicious!!! The price was reasonable for fine dining, and we will definitely return!!! Pros: Food, service and sangria Cons: bar can be a bit noisy at times more

This would be a great date place 11/26/2007

It feels upscale but the price is that of a family restaurant. The service was good and the burgers where very good. The bill for 2 of us with soup bread drinks and burgers was 16 bucks. You can't go wrong with that. I think I would drive to Homer Glen for a date. Nice atmosphere and I won't go broke trying to impress my date. more

good food 6/17/2007

the one thing missing online are the hours that its open. If I were to go on sunday then I wouldn't know when its open and make a wasted trip even though its close. I kept getting a sound that seemed to be a fax machine sound when I tried to call at 11am to check about reservations for Fathers Day before we went. more
