Bonefish Grill

The food far exceeded our expectations and the service was exceptional. Rebecca was so friendly and polite, we felt comfortable immediately. She seems like someone who enjoys what she is doing, believes in Bonefish and makes your dinner a true dining experience. She knew the menu precisely and walked us through it section by section as if she designed it herself. We felt like we were speaking with the owner or the chef who'd just finished perfecting the nightly specials! Her timing was impeccable and in all of the places I've eaten I have never once had anyone say ""pardon the intereruption"" are you enjoying? or which of our sauces was your favorite? Easily the best server we've ever had and we dine out at least 3 times a week, usually much more. \r The flavors were unique and delicious, the bread is warm and soft with a slight crunch and the dipping oil...oh my goodness...devine! This was my fiancee's first time to Bonefish and I've not been since a vacation several years ago in VA, I can tell you it will not be 3 years until we return, more like 3 days...we'll see you Sunday and hope that Rebecca is working, she's the best!\r \r The House Salad with the dressing - scrumptious\r Corn Chowder with Lump Crab soup - delicious\r Mixed Grill - Mignon, scallops and shrimp - cooked to perfection! We were on a weekend getaway to the NY/NJ area and we were staying at the hotel across the way from the restaurant. We noticed the quaint outdoor seating. It was August and still warm so we sat outside after dinner with friends and finished the rest of our evening. \r \r We made a reservation because it was a Saturday evening and they were right on time with our table. The hostess/manager was a riot and she was very accomodating with our table location for my extremely TALL husband. The staff was very friendly and they treated you like you were their family. It was nice to see a staff that was happy to be where they were working. It was evident that they all like their jobs. I noticed that the hostess/manager expressed concern with one of the waitresses and told her to go have a cold drink and take a quick break. It was a very warm evening when we there and the servers were getting worn out from the heat, but they kept on smiling!\r \r The server was extremely prompt and the drinks were cold & delicious. They have a coconut shrimp appetizer that was to die for. All the appetizers at our table were amazing. \r \r Dinner was GREAT! I had to have the chef change one part of my meal due to a dietary restriction that I have and the shrimp dish was the best I have ever eaten in my life. The seafood was so fresh, you would have sworn that they were catching it in the kitchen...:) We live near Cape Cod, MA and I thought we had great seafood, but this wins hands down!!!\r \r Dessert was as equally amazing....They have huge delicious portions on all of their menu items....I ate ll of my food as I could not have standed to waste a bite! Prices are very reasonable for all of the food that you received.\r \r We are actually planning a trip to the NY/NJ area for Valentine's Day 2009 just so that we can go back to eat here again....I can't wait!\r \r Go hungry and trust me you will leave very, very happy! \r \r I TRULY LOVED this restaurant.....""10"" THUMBS UP!!! If your looking for fresh fish this is the place to go to. And they have a number of different toppings to go on top of fish choices so good. I travel alot and have been to my share of restaurants but this one takes the cake. Especially the Secaucus location the food is delicious and the service is so friendly. And the Management team makes you feel very important too. And not pricy either you get alot for what your paying for. Very impressed have to say it's about time they brought some good food to NJ.
