I am a regular at the Bond Street when in NYC so decided to give this one a try. The experience was mixed. Food was first rate...Service was terrible. Waited an hour or so for table at the bar, hostess then told us we would be seated in ""a few minutes."" The ""few minutes"" became another thirty minutes. Aftger being seated, server took fifteen minutes to take a drink order. After we complained, our first round of drinks was on the house. Then in an attempt to redeem themselves, hostess planned to surprise us with comp dessert....but inattentive server accidently put the dessert on the bill, which she gave to us before the dessert arrived. Though overall it was a bad experience, I appreciated the attempts to make us happy with the commplimentary items. I always recommend the Bond Street in NYC and would give this one another try.
Pros: Shrimp tempura rolls, tasty sake, atmosphere
Cons: service, service, service
