I think the Outback is the best nationwide steakhouse for value and flavor out there! We've eaten at Outbacks from the east coast to the west, and they're consistently good. Quality like a fine restaurant with prices closer to a low budget steakhouse than an upscale one, but with food taste and quality that rivals any upscale steakhouse, ESPECIALLY in the use of spices department! Their stuff actually has flavor, and they have the best ""Bloomin"" (or flowering, or whatever you want to call it) onion around. The creamy onion Walkabout soup is awesome, if you are in an Outback that serves it (not all of them do). We like the Snelling Avenue Outback, which currently carries the creamy onion soup on the weekends. Try the Outback Special, in our opinion it is the best steak on the menu and a better value than several of the others.
Pros: tasty, fair prices, variety
Cons: a little noisy, no reservations, too many soup changes
