I drive from Powhatan to purchase seafood at Bon Air Sea Food. I guess the lady who returned her shrimp and likes to shop at Farm Fresh is confused about what good sea food is about. Obviously people do not know quality. Fresh Market. Are you kidding me. What a joke. The people at Bon Air seafood know what they are doing and have good customer service. I have been going there for years and will continue to go there. They have the most fresh seafood around. They might be a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. The she crab soup is out of this world. These people know what they are doing. They prob. did do you a favor by giving you your money back because you prob just couldnt afford it and needed gas money or something. Keep going to Fresh Market. Ill continue to go to Bon Air seafood like the other 10,000 happy clients. If Bon Air seafood wanted to go bigger they would put fresh market out of a seafood department. Have a great day. I spent over $100 at Bon Air recently on ""flounder"", scallops and shrimp. The flounder, of course charged by the pound, had the skin still on and bones still in the fish! The scallops were decent. The shrimp were spoiled. I returned the next day to return the shrimp and complain about the flounder. The rude people behind the counter ignored my comments about the flounder. Their response to the shrimp, which I had in hand, was, ""Well, you are the first customer to return this shrimp, we have sold 50-60 lbs of it. We'll give you your money back."" It was as if they were doing ME a favor! I don't care how long you have been in business, you DO NOT treat customers like that and try to push MEDIOCRE FISH. BUYER BEWARE. I have no idea how they have stayed in business with stores like Fresh Market out there. Cons: Over priced mediocre fish, spoiled product, horrible rude service more
