I went to this restaurant on 12/19/2015 with my parents and we walked out humiliated, angry, and with metallic taste in our mouths. We initially ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Shrimp Biryani. The Shrimp Biryani was mushy and wet. We have always had a dry biryani from all other indian restaurants, so we weren't prepared to eat a squishy dish like that. Without even taking a bite, we asked to return the dish and ordered something else instead. My father said, "this is not a biryani," and proceeded to order sheikh Kabob from the menu (to be clear, we also ordered extra naans and carrot Halwa to make the price difference for returning the their "biryani"). When the waitress took the biryani back to the kitchen, the Owner/chef came out and charged at us. He yelled at us and said, "what do you mean this is not a biryani?"He just went on and on for a good 40 seconds yelling at us and convincing us that this is a biryani. It was embarrassing. He had no etiquette, and there was another customer sitting listening to us getting humiliated. It ruined out dinner and we sat there mortified. We left the restaurant as soon as we could. I didn't even want to take the left overs, but my parents convinced me to take it, so it wouldn't be trashed.
As if that wasn't enough, the food was tasteless. I have been to plenty of restaurants in DFW and this was by far one of the worst. I would highly recommend going to Al Markaz in Carrollton or Tandoor in Arlington. The staff treats you with utmost respect, and if you don't enjoy a dish, they are be happy to make you something else.
I will never come back here and I will make sure none of my friends visit here either.
