So, I've been a Sitar fan for a long time. I love the entire menu, and am a big fan of the buffet. But, the buffet can be a real hit or miss. Sometimes it's great, sometimes the meat is overcooked and tastes horrid.\r

I've been eating at the Bombay Bistro lately when I get a hankering for Indian food. They also have a buffet, but it closes at 2 PM, so get there early. They have a great variety of food, but hey don't do the same volume as Sitar, so it's always fresh. Their Tikka is amazing. Always a winner in my book. They also have different flavor profiles than the other places, so you can get some interesting match-ups including vegetarian dishes that I've never seen before.\r

Another bonus: they cook the naan to order and bring it to your table. No waiting like when they run out at Sitar, or when it's been sitting and gets soggy.\r

I know I've focused too much on Sitar comparisons, but it's the one everyone knows. Give the Bombay Bistro a try. You might never look back. I'm just happy to find great Indian food here in Brentwood, so I don't have to drive 20 miles to get it.
