don't do business with boivin. two years ago, we contracted them to pave our driveway and do excavation under our deck. they ripped up our driveway, laid down a base of gravel, and graded it. they made a half-a$$ed attempt at doing the excavation, which they said they would have no problem doing. they quit halfway through the excavation, stating that they couldn't finish. it took these clown FIVE WEEKS to come back to lay the asphalt. in that time period the driveway got washed out by heavy rain and it had to be regraded. soon after paving the driveway, cracks began to form. we have been chasing them down for a year and a half to fix the faulty workmanship/seal the driveway with no results. we are currently pursuing legal action against boivin more

I have been trying to have someone talk to me for over a week now. But I guess once they cash your check their phones don't work.\r most dimensions for my driveway are less than agreed to. 18 foot wide turn around is 15 foot 8 inches wide at one point and less than that at other points. How hard is it to put down a 18 foot wide square? Now they wont even return my calls. I guess its time to hire another contractor to fix their mess up. I'll try to recover my costs... but even if the lawyers recover some of my costs fixing their errors, it's still gonna cost me more money. They may be cheapest, but remember you get what you pay for.
