Boikian Photography

I took him to court, won, and got a judgement against him but still never received anything from him. No money or negatives. He did move, his address is 2514 Treelane Ave. Monrovia , CA 91016, if anyone else wants to sue him. When he is served with the papers he contacts you to try to work with you, but he never came through. All I want are my negatives. Does anyone have Jacob Boikian's contact information? His cell phone number is disconnected, his website is down, and he will not respond to my emails. sb2009, I have emailed Jacob multiple times and all I want are my negatives. I realize that the albums are a lost cause at this point, but I really would like to have the memories from my wedding. If you are in contact with him, please ask him to send me my negatives. I write this review in order to warn others to stay away. The review from kelphus has come on many other complaint boards trying to defend him. If you research and read the reviews, you'll see there is more anger towards Jacob due to his lack of accomplishing what he writes in the contract. I was married in 2004 and I am still trying to track down Jacob in order to get my money back or get my albums. He has defrauded many and has done all he can to continue to defraud other unsuspecting couples. Kelphus may have received his/her albums and photos, but you can easily see that for the one person he did something for, there are dozens he has screwed over. My advice.... STAY AWAY!!!! and report him to authorities. Cons: Cons? that's what he is more

I used Boikian to do family portraits for me, and they were excellent. I referred him to two acquaintances to handle weddings, and heard from them that his work was great. more

Kelphus ? It?s not slander when you state the truth. ?Awful things? were said because they are the horrible truth; the fact that you would defend a scam artist like Jacob after seeing all that has been said about his dealings says a lot about you. You are either (1) Boikian posing as ?happy? customer or (2) completely irresponsible by referring him to your friends after knowing he has scammed other people. I keep posting my reviews so that other couples do not have suffer. That is what you call responsibility. Spend more time following up on your referrals instead of defending him; I guarantee your friends haven?t gotten their pictures yet. Bet you won?t post that information. I am still waiting for my wedding album. We have been screwed out of $3500.00 and still have no wedding albums to show for it. He is an elusive creature that should not be trusted nor given any money for anything. He is a leech and a bottom feeder at best. There should be one more star to choose from that represents the sub-human culture. Pros: HE IS A GOOD CON ARTIST. If there is such a thing. Hey Everyone, I found him with the help of another citysearch user!!! He's hiding out. His new place looks really run down; I don't think he's active in his business. However, I was only able to get the negatives and original artwork from him. Honestly, I don't think there's much luck in getting more from him other than all the originals. I realize I lost thousands with him, but I think its better to lose $$ in the short-run than lose a lifetime of captured memories. I made him sign a copyright release letter. This photographer has not fulfilled his contract from Jan 7, 2006. We called and emailed him several times and he finally sent us a link to view our magazine book in March 2007. Since then he has not returned our emails or phone calls. I would not recommend this photographer!!! His business practices are horrible!!! more

Boikian Studio was unable to fulfill their obligation. We were married on June 21, 2003 and the photographer arrived on time and spent the majority of the day with us taking pictures. The work was good and pictures did come out beautiful. But as of June 7,2007 we haven't recieved our magazine wedding album. After several e-mails and phone calls I was promised my album by February 16, 2007. Since then I never got an update or anything. I continue to leave messages which are being ignored. We are coming up on our 4 year anniversary and still no album. All we want is our memories that were captured on film. After all this we wouldn't recommend their services. My husband and I contracted with Studio Boikian to photograph and video our wedding that occurred on 9/3/05, As of April 19, 2007 Studio Boikian has failed to deliver our wedding album, three 8x10 wedding photos, negatives and digital files. We paid for the servies of Studio Boikian in the amount of $4,416.00 and they have not fulfilled their contract.
