I am a facial fanatic so when B98 ran a microderm special for Serenity I thought I would try this spa. My first impression was that the place was very nice, clean and professional. The staff was pleasant but it was the facial that won me over. I have had microdermabrasion treatments before at other places but never anything that gave me results like this one. It has been a week and my skin looks years younger. I am not sure what she did but I am going back! more

A place you can feel comfortable 9/30/2011

Serenity Mind Body Spa is a soothing comfortable place to get a fabulous massage and so much more. Every time I go in I find new products like their Zoya nail polish, Hempz lotion and energizing pulse point cream. They have the best packages and I'm really excited about their new location in Derby. I've already had a pedi there and it lasted super long. I don't want to leave out their waxing - best place in town to do it! more

Massage to dream about 9/29/2011

Thought is was time to give kudos to Serenity. For several years I've been getting massages and they get better each time. My fave is Mindy. With all the new additions to their offerings I've been trying facials, manicures and pedicures. AWESOME. Love the staff and what they offer! more

Best Bikini Wax 9/26/2011

Sara at Serenity is the "BOMB" at Bikini waxing. I am serious do not waste your time going anywhere else. She is fast and knows what she is doing! I will never go anywhere else for a wax. more

Derby Spa is Beautiful!! 9/23/2011

I am so happy that my favorite spa in ICT has a new location in Derby. I have gone to the location in Wichita for several years and was so excited to have them come closer. Just had a pedi at the new spa and Emily is great...Girls the place is just beautiful. Good Job!! more

Love this place! I have been going here for a long time and have a few friends that work here and they LOVE it too! I read the last few reviews and they are either talking about the wrong place or are crazy. The best customer service and definately worth the money! more

Wouldn't go again.... Bad service!! Who ownes this place?? 9/15/2011

My parents tried to do a couples massage and the therapist didnt show ..... My parents said the lady at the front desk was so loud that they wanted to say" hey,,, lady you call this a Spa, but you are so loud and it made them not relaxed at all." Maybe the therapist didn't show because of how the people are there.... Yike!!!! Makes you wonder?????? Would not encourage anyone to go to this place.... Plus the prices and packages are just crazy???? Do these people think they are in Hollywood?? lol... Even places in Hollywood are cheaper and better than this place more

One of my close friends use to work here ,and they let her go after her car broke down. My friend gave up all her clients to make these people happy, and then they srewed her by giving her a letter saying she couldnt work within 20 miles of Serenity- yet they were the ones who let her go. The lady that ownes this place should be reported to BBB. My friend bent over backwards to be honest and make these poeple happy, and they treated her very poorly. My friend drove clear accross town just for one massage to make the owners happy, but these people just werent right to her at all. Someone needs to report these people. Not to mention they charged a back bar fee for lotions, took it out of her paychecks, and then they took all her lotions that they charged her for. WOW! This business was very unprofessional to my my friend, and I would not recommend anyone to this place nor would I tell you to work here. Eh!!! Stay away! more

Serenity Spa is a rip off 9/9/2011

This place is a total rip off. My teenage daughters suprised me with a gift certificate for a soul package including hot stone foot massage, scalp treatment, etc. When I go to redeem it, I am informed they don't honor that package anymore, I would have to go with a more expensive package as they have discontinued that service. A couple of months later, on the morning of, I schedule an eyebrow wax at 2pm, because I am a litlle late, i am informed they will not be able to service me because they only have one person who does that and she is booked at 2:30pm. I guess 20 minutes isn't long enough. I won't be recommending them or using anymore of their services. more

not worth the money 12/1/2010

my husband suprised me for our 10th ann. with a day at the spa, while the massage was great I got a facial for 65$ & the girl was painting my face with a paintbrush, she was scared to rub in the exfolliant, i rubbed it myself. i have no warts, or pimples. i could have done this myself. beautiful building, but not worth 200$ on any day. more

Outstanding facility, atmosphere and staff 5/17/2010

I have been having a regular monthly theraputic massage for years and had to find somewhere new upon moving to Wichita. My first try was Serenity and I did not need to look any further - the staff are fantastic...the massage was outstanding...and the general atmosphere of the facility is peaceful, calm, tasteful and even a little luxurious. I did not need to look any further. Pros: Professional services Cons: Haven't found any more

Nice Valentine's Suprise 2/16/2008

Serenity is a little hard to find but, this place is the best massage place that I have been to in Wichita. We had such a nice experience for Valentine's Day. The couples room was very romantic with the fireplace and champagne. The two therapists were so nice and really paid attention to the details. I truly did not want to leave, it was so relaxing. When we were ready to leave the two therapists thanked us for coming in and gave us neat little gift of chocolates and heart soaps for Valentines Day. I mean WOW, I have been to other places, this tops all. They really went above and beyond to make this a wonderful time. I give this place 5 stars....relaxing, inviting, curteous, professional ... Pros: Awesome service, quality massage, clean and friendly Cons: a little hard to find....call first for directions more

Great massage! 2/13/2007

I really enjoyed my experience here. My therapist was quite good, and when I asked her for more pressure, she kicked my butt!! It was great!! My husband thought his was ok, but he still enjoyed the experience. I thought it was a good price for an hour of relaxation. more

I received a gift certificate for this place and was very impressed. The customer service was fantastic and it was probably the best massage in Wichita. They are very friendly. It is truly a nice place to go. I will be back! Cons: Nice and Relaxing! Great massage! more
